Capacity & architecture of the Allianz Arena

The Allianz Arena holds 75,024 spectators and was designed by the Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron. Its trademark is the translucent shell of 2,760 air-filled foil cushions, which are lit from within and make the stadium glow red, white or blue depending on the occasion. Since it opened in 2005, practically every FC Bayern Bundesliga home match has been sold out.

Getting to the Allianz Arena from Switzerland

You travel with us by comfortable coach from Switzerland to Munich – with no parking hassle or travel stress. On site, the Allianz Arena is reachable in about 16 minutes on the U6 underground line directly from Marienplatz. Boarding points in Switzerland include the EUROBUS travel centre in Windisch, Winterthur Töss and the Thurau and St. Margrethen service stations.

Seating & tickets

With fussball-reisen.ch the match ticket for the FC Bayern home game is already included in the trip – no club membership and no separate ticket purchase. Entry is digital via the FC Bayern App; your ticket is sent to your email address before departure. Inside the stadium you can pay cashless by debit or credit card (the former Arenacard is no longer needed).

Kick-off times & match days

The exact dates of the Bundesliga match days are set by the DFL only a few weeks in advance. Possible kick-off times are Fridays 20:30, Saturdays 15:30 and 18:30, and Sundays 15:30 and 17:30, plus some matches at 19:30. As soon as the dates are confirmed, we put together the matching trips.
