Frequently asked questions about our football trips

• How do we travel to the match?

  For over 35 years, travel has been by modern EUROBUS coaches departing from Switzerland. Please arrive at your chosen boarding point at least 15 minutes before departure.

• Where can I board?

  You choose your departure point when booking. The available departure points are stated with each trip.

• How do I receive my tickets for Munich and Dortmund?

  For FC Bayern Munich matches, stadium entry is digital via the FC Bayern App: download the free app to your smartphone — your ticket will be sent to the email address you provided when booking, before departure. For trips to Dortmund, tickets are handed out personally after arrival at the hotel.

• What's included in the trip price?

  The price includes the match ticket and the coach travel from Switzerland and back. Weekend arrangements also include the hotel stay (with breakfast). You'll find the exact services listed under «What's included» on each trip. Trip prices currently range from CHF 99 to CHF 750 per person (30 trips on offer). Day trips are cheaper than weekend arrangements with an overnight stay.

• Is there a single-room surcharge?

  For trips with an overnight stay the price is based on a double room. A single room is available for a surcharge – you'll see the exact amount at the booking step or on request.

• How far in advance should I book?

  Because the exact match dates are only confirmed a few weeks ahead, we recommend booking early – seat allocations are limited and popular matches sell out quickly. As a rule of thumb, book 3 to 6 months before the match, and earlier for top fixtures.

• Can I cancel, and is insurance included?

  Cancellations incur a processing fee of CHF 100 per person (max. CHF 1,000 per booking). On top of that come staggered cancellation charges as a percentage of the trip price: none up to 61 days before departure, 10 % for 60–46 days, 40 % for 45–31 days, 50 % for 30–16 days and 100 % for 15–0 days. The date your written notice reaches us is what counts. Travel or cancellation insurance is not included in the price – we recommend taking out your own travel insurance.

• What happens if the match is postponed or the programme changes?

  If the programme changes, we will contact you by phone or email. The organiser cannot accept liability for unforeseeable events such as match postponements, abandoned matches, weather, breakdowns or traffic jams.

• Is there a discount for children?

  We offer a price reduction for children up to 13 years of age.

• Where can I find all the trip details?

• Is the match ticket guaranteed in the trip price?

  Yes, the match ticket is a fixed part of the booked package and included in the price.

• How much does a Champions League ticket cost?

  With fussball-reisen.ch the Champions League ticket is part of the travel package – the price per person (incl. coach travel and, if you wish, a hotel) is shown on each trip. We don't sell single tickets separately.
