Capacity & history of San Siro
The stadium opened in 1926 and today holds around 75,000 spectators. It has been rebuilt and extended several times; its present outline, with the added third tier and the distinctive spiral towers, dates from the 1990 World Cup. That makes it one of the largest football grounds in Europe.
