How do we travel to the match?

For over 35 years, travel has been by modern EUROBUS coaches departing from Switzerland. Please arrive at your chosen boarding point at least 15 minutes before departure.

How do I receive my tickets for Munich and Dortmund?

For FC Bayern Munich matches, stadium entry is digital via the FC Bayern App: download the free app to your smartphone — your ticket will be sent to the email address you provided when booking, before departure. For trips to Dortmund, tickets are handed out personally after arrival at the hotel.

What's included in the trip price?

The price includes the match ticket and the coach travel from Switzerland and back. Weekend arrangements also include the hotel stay (with breakfast). You'll find the exact services listed under «What's included» on each trip. Trip prices currently range from CHF 99 to CHF 750 per person (30 trips on offer). Day trips are cheaper than weekend arrangements with an overnight stay.

Is there a single-room surcharge?

For trips with an overnight stay the price is based on a double room. A single room is available for a surcharge – you'll see the exact amount at the booking step or on request.

How far in advance should I book?

Because the exact match dates are only confirmed a few weeks ahead, we recommend booking early – seat allocations are limited and popular matches sell out quickly. As a rule of thumb, book 3 to 6 months before the match, and earlier for top fixtures.

Can I cancel, and is insurance included?

Cancellations incur a processing fee of CHF 100 per person (max. CHF 1,000 per booking). On top of that come staggered cancellation charges as a percentage of the trip price: none up to 61 days before departure, 10 % for 60–46 days, 40 % for 45–31 days, 50 % for 30–16 days and 100 % for 15–0 days. The date your written notice reaches us is what counts. Travel or cancellation insurance is not included in the price – we recommend taking out your own travel insurance.

What happens if the match is postponed or the programme changes?

If the programme changes, we will contact you by phone or email. The organiser cannot accept liability for unforeseeable events such as match postponements, abandoned matches, weather, breakdowns or traffic jams.

Is there a discount for children?

We offer a price reduction for children up to 13 years of age.

For over 100 years, Borussia Dortmund has captured countless hearts and won many major titles: Champions League, European Cup, and German championships. The fans' loyalty to the club is unique. Moreover, Borussia Dortmund boasts the Signal Iduna Park, a stadium that even the British newspaper «Times» called the most beautiful in the world. With 81,365 seats, it is Germany's largest football stadium (55,000 season ticket holders). The legendary and steep South Stand is known as the «yellow wall» with around 25,000 standing places—Europe's largest standing terrace. It was in front of this backdrop that Switzerland's unforgettable match against Togo took place during the 2006 World Cup.

Borussia Dortmund itself has a very special connection to Switzerland. This is especially due to Ottmar Hitzfeld, who became the star coach here from 1991 onwards, and the fan favorites Stéphane Chapuisat and Alex Frei, who scored many goals for the club. It's no wonder that Swiss fans are very welcome guests in Dortmund. We have felt this hospitality since our first Dortmund trips in 1991 until today.

Getting There & Atmosphere

Signal Iduna Park lies in the south of the city and is within easy walking distance of the Hotel Mercure Centrum. Alternatively, you can take the underground directly to the «Stadion» stop. You receive your match tickets in person from our tour guide after arriving at the hotel, so you can focus entirely on the match and the legendary atmosphere in front of the Yellow Wall.
