Capacity & design

The Parc des Princes holds around 48,000 spectators. It is a dedicated football stadium with no running track – the stands sit right at the pitch, which is why the ground is known for being loud and tight despite its moderate size.

Where the Parc des Princes is

The stadium stands in the 16th arrondissement in the west of Paris – inside the city, not on its edge. Anyone travelling for the match is therefore well placed for everything else Paris has to offer.

From national stadium to PSG's home

Before the Stade de France opened in 1998, the Parc des Princes was France's national stadium and the venue for the major internationals and finals. Since then it has been Paris Saint-Germain's stage alone.
